The Ecorobotix robot is a major innovation in weeding technology. It is autonomous and powered by solar energy positioning itself with its GPS RTK, its camera, and its sensors. It sprays micro-doses of weed killer with two articulated arms following intelligent image recognition.
Mission creation, step by step
For farmers, the first step within the app is to record various parameters (location, size, orientation, type of crop) to define the field in which the robot will be deployed. Then, the user assigns different missions to the robot, which can also be manually remote-controlled.
