The Best of the Web is an annual contest that rewards the most remarkable web projects in French-speaking Switzerland. Last Thursday, we won both the Innovation and Marketing / Business Efficiency categories with our Proximat project, a circular economy platform for trading construction materials.
After being selected as an Impact Start-Up at the Web Summit and following its participation in the Swiss Innovation Challenge this summer, the promising startup Proximat continues to prove its potential with these two additional awards. They grant it additional visibility and recognition of its ability to innovate in the construction sector, an industry often overlooked by digitalization.
The jury’s opinion
The members of the jury rewarded the B2B approach of this project which, despite the difficulties inherent in the economic flows and purchasing models of this complex sector, has managed to convince users and generate revenue through the trading of more than a million tons of materials on the platform in just a few months.
This is why success is within reach for Proximat, and the startup is already planning for a busy 2022, which will see it continue to set up a public marketplace allowing a greater number of companies to access the first Swiss circular economy platform dedicated to the construction sector.
